I am an organised, self-motivated individual with advanced communication skills which I enjoy using in my working life. Further, I am a creative thinker with the proven ability to 'think outside the box' a skill that has stood me in good stead during my working life to date; particularly so whilst running my own tutoring business. I am also an analytical thinker and I enjoy a challenge.
Private English Tutor – Part Time at Self Employed (2005-01 – Present)
For the past 17 years I have run my own business, teaching English to all levels of learners including those with SEND needs, on a one-to-one basis online from home, from Primary school level, to SATS to GCSE & IGCSE English Language and Literature (all exam boards and student levels); to A Level Literature, as well as ESOL, pronunciation and elocution for adult learners. I also tutor undergraduates and proof read dissertations, so that my attention to detail is excellent, as are my English language skills. Whilst teaching online I type up 'live' my students' responses and my comments and examples with links, so that I can email them to the students after the lesson.
I am adept at interpreting many accents as my students range from children to adults and are global.
