A biomedical science graduate currently pursuing an MSc in Molecular Medicine at Trinity College Dublin, with hands-on experience in medical laboratory settings. I have a strong passion for science communication and advancing research in immunology, oncology, and genetics—particularly in understanding how molecular mechanisms drive disease and inform therapeutic strategies.
I worked for six months as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory of a hospital, where I gained extensive hands-on experience in performing a variety of diagnostic tests, particularly polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assays. During this period, I honed my skills in nucleic acid extraction, sample preparation, PCR setup and optimization, and the interpretation of molecular diagnostic results.
