I’m a CNM2 in Radiology in St Vincent’s Private hospital at present as a job share.We organise all of the interventional cases throughout Radiology including IR,CT and ultrasound while liaising with bit Radiologists,referring specialist Consultants,secretaries and of course patients.We also oversea the day to day running and allocation of nurses throughout the department monitoring duty and quality skill mix to achieve excellent patient care.
I am also a part time Personal trainer to an array of women in Wicklow where I live,I use my nursing abilities along with my PT training to develop programmes that aid in both physical and mental health for my clients
I’m also undertaking a Women’s health,sports and exercise post grad in DCU in Sept to maximise my knowledge and competence in both aspects of my career and feel that this job evokes all I live to do
Trained until 2008 and then worked in St Vincent’s University until 2023,in medical and surgical wards as a Staff nurse,the. Went into Radioogy working my way up to CNM2. I then was out of hours nights CNM3 overseeing the entire running of the hospital.I then was CNS in Heptobiliary running MDT’s,patient clinics and organising theatre lists while preparing patients pre-operatively also.Then the job share came up in St Vincent’s Private CNM2 in Oct 2023 and have been there since
