A leading healthcare organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Senior Android & Flutter Developer to help shape its next generation of mobile applications.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining Native Android development, Flutter, mobile architecture, and AI-assisted software development.

You'll play a key role in the organization's transition toward a Flutter First approach, working on large-scale hybrid mobile applications while taking ownership of complex features, code quality, and technical decisions.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Build and enhance mobile solutions using Flutter.
• Help lead the transition from Native Android to Flutter First, including adapting existing infrastructure.
• Design and implement solutions for large-scale hybrid mobile applications.
• Contribute to mobile architecture decisions and evaluate technical trade-offs.
• Lead code reviews and promote clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Write unit tests and support high engineering standards.
• Mentor developers and collaborate with senior engineers.
• Identify technical risks, investigate complex issues, and improve application performance.
• Work closely with Product, Design, and Information Security teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable mobile solutions.
• Use GenAI tools, AI agents, and MCP as part of the development workflow.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• At least 5 years of professional mobile development experience.
• At least 3 years of Android development experience using Kotlin and Java.
• At least 2 years of Flutter development experience.
• Practical experience developing software using GenAI tools, Agents, and MCP.
• Deep understanding of mobile architectures and technical trade-offs.
• Experience working with modular applications.
• Hands-on experience writing unit tests and testable code.
• Strong understanding and practical experience in multi-threaded programming.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving performance issues involving CPU, memory, and rendering.
• Experience working with Git in large development teams, including advanced branching workflows such as GitFlow.
• Ability to independently own complex features from requirements through implementation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive approach, technical ownership, and strong problem-solving skills.
