Applied AI Engineer

A full-time Applied AI Engineer role focused on building and optimizing our LLM-powered clinical compliance engine. You will design, implement, and refine AI systems that analyze clinical documentation, detect compliance issues, and generate actionable insights for healthcare providers.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement LLM-based rule engines for clinical compliance detectionBuild RAG systems and semantic search pipelines for clinical documentationOptimize prompts, fine-tune models, and evaluate AI system performanceCollaborate with clinical experts to translate regulatory requirements into AI workflowsMonitor and improve AI accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency in productionDevelop evaluation frameworks and testing strategies for AI outputs.Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs and modern AI/ML systemsStrong Python skills and experience with AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar)Proven track record of deploying production AI systems at scaleExperience with prompt engineering, RAG, and model evaluationUnderstanding of AWS AI services (Bedrock, SageMaker, or similar)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailNice to HaveExperience with clinical NLP or healthcare AI applicationsFamiliarity with TypeScript and full-stack developmentBackground in regulated industries or compliance systemsExperience with vector databases and semantic search.This position is open to all candidates.
