Data Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and business-oriented Data Engineer to join our global Data & BI team.In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain modern data pipelines and data solutions that support critical business processes across the organization.You will work closely with global stakeholders, integrate data from multiple sources, ensure data quality and reliability, and contribute to modern data and AI initiatives.(*Please note, the internal title for this role is Senior Data & BI Specialist, Business Technology.)ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelinesDevelop and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformation processesIntegrate data from internal and external systems, including APIs, databases, and third-party platformsOwn data quality, monitoring, reliability, and governance processesInvestigate and resolve data-related issues while supporting business usersTake ownership of data workflows from design and development through production supportCollaborate with global stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze data discrepancies, and deliver reliable data solutionsDesign, develop, and maintain AI-powered data solutions that support business decision-making and operational excellenceBuild and implement monitoring capabilities (e.g. anomaly detection, forecasting, etc.) using modern AI capabilitiesPartner with business teams to identify opportunities for applying AI and LLM-based solutions to real-world business challengesDevelop and operationalize AI workflows and data products from proof-of-concept through production deployment.Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field3 years of experience in Data Engineering, BI Engineering, Data Operations, or a similar roleExtensive experience with Data Warehouse architecture and data modeling best practicesStrong hands-on experience building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelinesAdvanced SQL proficiency (must)Experience working with AWS environments (2 years)Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake Cortex (2 years)Hands-on experience building AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI solutionsExperience identifying anomalies, patterns, and business insights using statistical and AI-based approachesExperience integrating AI services into data platforms and business processesExperience deploying and supporting ML/AI solutions in production environmentsExperience with DBT (2 years)Experience with ETL/ELT tools and modern data platforms (Rivery, Fivetran)Experience working in a global companyExperience integrating data from multiple sources and technologiesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyStrong communication skills and experience working with global stakeholdersHigh level of English and Hebrew, both written and spokenAdvantagesExperience with PythonExperience with LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agent architecturesFamiliarity with BI and analytics toolsExperience with Amazon BedrockExperience working with semantic layers in AI-driven solutionsExperience with Apache NiFi.This position is open to all candidates.
