Development Manager

A Development Manager to lead the development of advanced Electro-Optical assemblies r specializing in high-power laser systems The position involves managing the design and development of cutting-edge multi-disciplinary Electro-Optical systems, with a focus on military-grade laser technologies Responsibilities Lead planning, synchronization, and coordination of development activities across engineering disciplines and stakeholders (e.g., program managers, customers, subcontractors, support and production teams) Make critical development decisions and approve key milestones Ensure compliance with project management requirements (schedule, scope, quality, budget, customer satisfaction) Oversee technical system requirements and lead formal technical events (IPTs, design reviews, integration, testing, trials) Prioritize engineering activities and evaluate alternatives across disciplines Develop prototypes and conduct complex experiments to support risk reduction and capability validation Allocate appropriate development resources and ensure delivery of system commitments B.Sc. in Engineering – must B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering – advantage Proven leadership and team management skills with excellent interpersonal abilities Strong system-level understanding and multidisciplinary engineering knowledge Fast learner with the ability to integrate into new technological domains Experience in workplan creation, risk management, and budget control Minimum 5 years of experience leading development processes in complex multi-disciplinary system programs Experience in military Electro-Optical system development – must High commitment and willingness to work intensively over extended periods
