CodeValue is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a long-term government project in Jerusalem.
About the Role
Work in a GCP (Google Cloud Platform) environment
Design, implement, and maintain public cloud infrastructure
Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines
Work with Kubernetes and manage clusters
Work with Docker – an advantage
Work with Google AI infrastructure and services
Work with WAF, Firewalls, networking, and information security infrastructure
Collaborate with Development, Networking, and Information Security teams
Work in a complex, cross-functional environment
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and improve DevOps processes through automation
Requirements
4+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including either Azure or GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) or OpenShift – mandatory, including deployment, maintenance, and cluster management.
Practical experience building and maintaining DevOps infrastructure – mandatory, including infrastructure setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
Strong practical knowledge of Python and Bash for scripting and automation – mandatory.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform – an advantage.
Experience building and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines or equivalent CI/CD platforms – an advantage.
Knowledge of Docker and containerization – an advantage.
Experience with WAF, firewalls, and information security infrastructure – an advantage.
Familiarity with Google AI infrastructure and services – an advantage.
Strong understanding of system administration, servers, and infrastructure – a significant advantage.
Networking knowledge – an advantage.
Familiarity with information security practices or database administration – an advantage.
Experience collaborating with Development, Networking, and Information Security teams.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Ability to operate effectively in complex, cross-functional environments.
