The role is a mix of ~30% team leadership and ~70% hands-on engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership (~30%)Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers, including 1:1s, performance feedback, and professional developmentOwn team planning, prioritization, and delivery of infrastructure roadmapsRepresent the team in cross-functional discussions and communicate complex solutions to stakeholdersDrive best practices, standards, and knowledge-sharing across the teamHands-on Engineering (~70%)Enhance business continuity of Production systems in the finance sectorDevelop and deploy critical infrastructure changes to ProductionDeploy & manage advanced security solutions to protect high-value trades and transactionsSupport an exactly-once, zero-data-loss transaction processing systemDeploy and maintain infrastructure automation and configuration management toolsDesign and implement orchestration solutions for dozens of containerized micro-servicesSupport, improve, and upgrade a continuous deployment environmentSupport, improve, and update the DevOps technology stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, Python, ELK & moreRequirements: At least 10 years of industry experience in R&D/QA/ITAt least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, including some experience leading or mentoring othersHands-on experience supporting business continuity of Critical Production SystemsProven experience delivering & communicating complex solutions to stakeholdersCorporate Information Security hands-on experienceBroad understanding of networkingExperienced with continuous integration toolsExperience with IaC of a cloud provider (preferably Terraform & AWS)At least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Groovy, Bash)Experienced with Kubernetes, Docker container management and orchestrationExperience in Windows & Linux server system administration - a plusExcellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills in EnglishExceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable balancing leadership with hands-on deliveryThis position is open to all candidates.
