Engineering Operations Manager

We are seeking a strategic Engineering Operations Manager to act as a true change agent, leading high-impact initiatives that shape and elevate how Engineering operates at scale.This role requires exceptional strategic thinking and communication skills, along with the ability to build strong, trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in balancing business needs and enterprise priorities, effectively translating them into pragmatic and high-impact Engineering execution. The role reports to the VP of Engineering Operations.Role:Drive Strategic Engineering Initiatives:Lead cross-functional Engineering initiatives end-to-end, from definition through execution and transition to business-as-usual (BAU)Serve as a project management expert, mentoring teams on best practices, methodologies, and effective executionProvide clear visibility into strategic initiatives through structured updates, highlighting progress, risks, and key dependenciesPartner with stakeholders to define milestones, success metrics, and ensure strong execution alignmentPartner with us & Influence Execution:Act as a primary interface to our stakeholders, translating enterprise priorities into pragmatic and high-impact Engineering executionLead our-driven initiatives impacting Engineering (e.g., system migrations, MDN, enterprise programs)Ensure effective alignment with our standards and policies while maintaining a strong focus on business outcomesRepresent Engineering within our systems, including ownership of technical asset catalog accuracyBuild and leverage strong stakeholder relationships to enable collaboration, alignment, and informed decision-makingEnable Engineering Effectiveness & Scale:Drive Engineering enablement and organizational effectiveness through targeted programs and initiativesDesign and deliver onboarding, learning, and innovation programs (e.g., bootcamps, immersion sessions, hackathons)Leverage our capabilities and resources to strengthen Engineering practices, including AI adoptionFoster cross-team collaboration and a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvementSupport Governance & Operational Excellence:Ensure smooth operation of Engineering processes within our frameworks while minimizing delivery frictionSupport sourcing and procurement processes in partnership with Engineering stakeholdersOversee risk management activities, including maintaining the risk registry (e.g., Archer)Facilitate adoption of approved tools and effectively navigate approval processes for new solutions.Requirements: Proven (at least 5 years) experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a technology or engineering environmentExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groupsAbility to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, problem-solving approach to drive outcomesCollaborative team player with strong ability to build alignment across functions and leadership levelsInnovative, analytical, and results-oriented, with a strong focus on continuous improvementBachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceFluency in English, both written and spoken.This position is open to all candidates.
