Hardware System Engineer

we are looking for a Hardware System Engineer to join our growing team!This is a great opportunity to be part of the fastest-growing infrastructure company in history. we are revolutionizing data storage solutions with its Universal Storage platform, designed to simplify AI and enterprise infrastructure.In this role, you will be responsible for qualifying hardware components such as servers, JBOFs, SSDs, network cards, switches, and optical transceivers. You will write requirement documents for new features, work with vendors on implementation and debugging, and transfer knowledge to internal teams, including software developers, QA, support, and manufacturing. Additionally, you will become the subject matter expert for specific hardware platforms and technologies.

Join us and contribute to shaping the future of data management while being part of a fast-growing, innovative company.Requirements: Required Skills:Demonstrate a detailed system-level understanding of systemsPrevious experience in hardware design, firmware design, linux device drivers and/or QA/verification of complex systems.B.a. / B.Sc EE or CS - an advantagePrior experience in at least one of the following technical areas:PCIe: Link training, configuration space, configuration procedures by the OS, hot-plug, transport layer, PCIe switch, SR-IOV, experience with PCIe Gen.4+ an advantage.Server design: x86 CPUs, BMC, IPMI, Redfish, SMBus/I2C, BIOS, UEFI, design for high availability, thermal design.Storage systems: NVMe SSDs, NVMeoF, RAID, OCP SSDsNetworking: 100/200/400/800G Ethernet, Infiniband, RDMA, NVMeoF, QoS, Flow Control, VxLANs, Optical Tranceivers, cables and DPUsLinux: Device drivers, memory management, hardware debug and test tools.This position is open to all candidates.
