Intern Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Security Engineer Intern to join our Security Engineering team on a part-time basis. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience working with state-of-the-art cybersecurity technologies and contribute to cutting-edge security solutions.Responsibilities:Analyze cloud platforms, tools and technologies for security controls implementation.Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets of cloud configuration data and security findings using SQL to uncover trends and hidden risks. Design and document clear specifications for security control.Collaborate closely with the development team to maintain, optimize, and improve existing infrastructure.Requirements: Enrollment in the Magshimim or Mamriot program, or comparable independent experience in cybersecurity development.Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles.Basic understanding of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and core cloud concepts (compute, storage, networking, IAM).

Hands-on experience with at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, or Bash), coupled with a solid understanding of SQL for database querying and data analysis. Strong foundation in computer science principles, including networking, data structures, and algorithms.Highly motivated and responsible, with the ability to independently tackle complex challenges involving a large existing codebase and to effectively collaborate within a team environment.This position is open to all candidates.
