JAVA team lead ( backend )

We are looking for a JAVA team lead to join our backend department and be a pivotal role in developing our backend platform and building new team. What will your days with us look like?

The Role

Lead a team of 3-4 backend engineers Be hands-on 30-50% of the time, contributing directly to development Take ownership of backend design, code quality, and technical decision-making Participate in planning, estimations, and product discussions Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and system reliability Interview and mentor team membersRequirements: 5+ years of JAVA backend development experience 2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot Experience designing and maintaining scalable backend systems Solid understanding of object-oriented design and best practices Experience working with databases and complex queries Strong communication and leadership skills Nice to have Experience with Kafka and/or ElasticsearchThis position is open to all candidates.
