Junior Data Scientist

Our Data Science team is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to help build and improve the models at the core of Mizes travel data platform. What youll do:Develop and improve ML modelsBuild LLM-based pipelines for data enrichment, validation and quality checksAnalyze large datasets to find patterns, data-quality issues and opportunities for business impactDesign experiments, define metrics and evaluate model performance in productionTurn findings into clear insights and recommendations for technical and business stakeholdersRequirements: M.Sc. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or a related quantitative field1-2 years of hands-on data science experience (industry, research, or strong academic/personal projects)Strong Python skills, including pandas, NumPy and scikit-learnSolid SQL skillsGood grasp of ML fundamentals: supervised learning, feature engineering, evaluation metrics and validationStrong analytical thinking and a pragmatic approach to solving problemsAble to work independently and explain your work clearlyAdvantage:Hands-on experience with LLMs (prompt engineering, LLM APIs, embeddings)Experience deploying models to production or working with MLOps toolsFamiliarity with the travel or hospitality industryThis position is open to all candidates.
