We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to lead strategic research initiatives. This individual will be at the forefront of our research, working hands-on to advance our models while also mentoring and collaborating with data scientists across the department.Responsibilities:Spearhead strategic research of new cutting edge Machine Learning modelsMentor and advise data scientists in the Auto loans research team as well as across the research departmentDesign solutions for the companys core mission using Data Science methodologies from various domainsWork in a short life-cycle research and development environmentGenerate and test working hypotheses in unexplored territory.Requirements: 8+ years of experience in Machine Learning, working with tabular data on predictive modelingTrack record of translating research into business impactMSc in a related field- Math/EE/CS/Physics/StatsGreat interpersonal skills, and strong collaborator Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.Proficient in Python and the Data Science StackIndependent and fast learner that can work alone and in teamsKnowledge in some of the following can be an advantage: optimization, risk and finance.This position is open to all candidates.
