Required Linux Systems EngineerAs a Linux Systems Engineer, you will:Be in charge of effective provisioning, installation, configuration and maintenance of complex IT systems (hardware, software, cloud and all related infrastructure) across Linux and WindowsDesign, implement and manage Linux and Windows based systems, ensuring they run smoothlyMonitor the system daily, enhance system performance, ensure high availability and reliability and respond immediately to security or usability concernsProvide technical support for both hardware and software issues encountered by usersAutomate routine tasks and processes with popular scripting languages, particularly using Ansible and PythonCollaborate with the team to define needs, benefits, technical strategy, analysis and design to ship new features and maximize system efficiencyImplement security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosureEfficiently use Linux and Windows consoles for system administration tasks.Requirements: At least 7 years of experience in IT InfrastructureAt least 5 years of experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux-based environmentsAt least 5 years of experience as Windows Sys adminAt least 3 years of experience in the infrastructure and management of Microsoft Active Directory, MS Exchange, DHCP/DNS servers, SQL Server, IIS and Group PolicySolid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby and NGINX) and Linux-based applications (Web Servers, Databases, proxies, etc.)Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Ansible for automation tasksSolid networking knowledge (OSI network layers and TCP/IP)Experience in mobile device management solutionsExperience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and identity management solutionsExperience in data security products (Microsoft security/third-party applications)Experience in managing enterprise backup platforms and Virtual Environment (VMWare)Experience in high-availability design (failover systems and data replication)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks concurrentlyTeam-oriented, with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to self-learn new subjects or systemsIt would be great if you also have:Professional certification in Linux, Microsoft, and/or AWS technologies (e.g., MCSE/MCSA, RHCE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator)Experience in various open source systems (Linux systems)Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, K8S)Experience with monitoring systems (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, CloudWatch)Experience in managing storage Platforms (NetApp/Dell/HPE)Experience designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure in AWS (Amazon Web Services)Practical experience in CyberArk, SCCM, Jamf.This position is open to all candidates.
