our company in Rehovot is looking for a Laser Physicist to join a multidisciplinary team developing high-power laser systems based on optical fibers.This is an opportunity to take part in advanced and meaningful technological work, from research and development stages through production and system integration, in an innovative environment at the forefront of defense technology.In this role you will:Lead the development of high-power laser systems based on optical fibers from concept phase through production and integrationDesign, develop and research fiber laser technologies and integrate them into multidisciplinary systemsDesign and build optical systems for physical experimentsPerform physical simulations and analytical modelingSupport serial production of fiber laser assembliesWork closely with multidisciplinary engineering and technology teams in an advanced R&D environment.Requirements: M.Sc. degree in Physics / Electro-Optics / Electrical EngineeringPh.D. in a relevant field - AdvantageExperience in electro-optics and relevant laboratory workBackground in lasers and optical systems development - AdvantageProgramming skills in Python and MATLABExcellent interpersonal skills, teamwork abilities, initiative, research leadership and independent working capabilities.This position is open to all candidates.
