We are looking forFor our site in Karmiel, we are looking for a Process Engineer / SMT Technologist to join our Process Engineering and Technology teamIf you are looking for an opportunity to work in an advanced technological environment, influence complex manufacturing processes, and lead continuous improvement in automated SMT production lines - your place is with usIn this role, you will take part in leading electronic manufacturing and assembly processes, working with innovative technologies, and collaborating with multiple interfaces across the organizationIn this role you willMonitor, control, analyze, and improve automated SMT processes with emphasis on process stability, quality, and reliabilityProvide ongoing technological support to production lines and implement new technologiesLead failure investigations, data analysis, and root cause analysis activitiesBuild, optimize, and control soldering profiles for Reflow ovensProvide technological solutions and support manufacturing processesLead New Product Introduction (NPI) processes from development to productionWrite and maintain work instructions, procedures, and process documentationTrain employees and implement working methods within production processesWork with multiple interfaces including manufacturing, quality, development, component engineering, purchasing, and subcontractors.Requirements: Practical Engineer or B.Sc. in Electronics / Mechanical Engineering / Materials Engineering - AdvantageAt least 3 years of experience in electronic manufacturing and SMT assembly processesKnowledge and experience with automated SMT processes and SMT line equipmentFamiliarity with inspection and control systems such as AOI, SPI, and X-RAYExperience in building soldering profiles and familiarity with Reflow processesKnowledge of relevant IPC standards such as IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001Technical English proficiency including reading, writing, and editing technical documentsHigh motivation, initiative, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.This position is open to all candidates.
