Senior Backend Developer

we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer.This is a highly autonomous role. You'll work independently, taking full ownership of complex, end-to-end initiatives from initial scoping all the way to production. You'll build and evolve the backend services that power data platform, enabling reliable, scalable, and efficient data processing across the organization.Take ownership of complex services and features, working independently to deliver high-quality solutions and use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) as a natural accelerant in your daily workflowPlay a key role in refactoring systems to build more robust, scalable, and streamlined services, including deep infrastructure work and modern service architecture leveraging AI-assisted analysis and code generation where it adds real valueDesign and build core micro-services, laying the foundation for our product and internal platformsCollaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specificationsStay current with the rapidly evolving AI tooling landscape proactively evaluating new models, prompting strategies, and AI-assisted workflows that can meaningfully improve how the team buildsRequirements: 5+ years (senior level) working with Node.js or Java3+ years working with MongoDB1+ years of experience with the NestJS frameworkExperience working with microservices architectureB.Sc in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent fieldIndependent but knows how to be professionally dominant in a teamDemonstrated fluency with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot,) as a genuine accelerant in day-to-day engineering not just occasional useNice to HaveWorking with Kubernetes and Docker deploymentExperience with Firebase Services like Functions, Storage and AuthenticationThis position is open to all candidates.
