Senior Backend Engineer

We are currently expanding our R&D center in Tel Aviv, where we are building advanced data systems, automation infrastructure, and intelligent workflows that power our products and enable the next wave of innovation in advertising technology.This role focuses on building reliable data systems and automation infrastructure, while helping us introduce AI-driven and agentic automation capabilities that improve how our engineering and data platforms operate.What You Will DoDesign and build backend services using Node.js and TypeScriptDevelop and maintain data pipelines and automated workflowsWork with Snowflake, MongoDB, and large datasetsImprove reliability and performance of data processing systemsBuild and maintain automation infrastructure that supports data and platform operationsDesign systems that help automate engineering and data workflowsWrite unit and integration tests for backend services and workflowsCollaborate with analysts and product teams to translate complex workflows into scalable systemsParticipate in improving engineering standards, testing culture, and development practicesDrive the next generation of automation across the platform by designing AI-driven and agentic workflows that enhance how our engineering and data systems operateYour Day-to-Day WorkDeveloping backend services and APIsOptimizing queries and data processing workflowsBuilding reliable systems for processing large-scale dataDesigning and implementing automation processes across data and engineering workflowsSupporting AI-driven and agentic automation initiatives across internal systemsWriting automated tests to ensure system stabilityCollaborating with engineers in Israel and global teamsRequirements: 4-7 years of backend development experienceStrong experience with Node.js, TypeScript and pythonExperience working with SQL and large datasetsExperience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databasesFamiliarity with data pipelines or distributed systemsExperience with AI-enabled automation or agentic workflow systemsExperience writing automated tests for backend servicesInterest in building automation-first systems and intelligent workflowsCuriosity about applying AI and agentic automation to engineering and operational processesComfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environmentStrong communication skills in EnglishThis position is open to all candidates.
