Senior Backend/Full-Stack Developer

A cutting-edge deep-tech startup is looking for a Senior Backend / Full-Stack Developer (backend-leaning) to join its core engineering team and help build advanced vision intelligence systems for early threat detection - including drones, boats, and other targets at the edge of visibility.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, working across the stack, solving complex engineering challenges, and building meaningful real-world technology.What youll do:Own and build backend services in a distributed, event-driven systemDevelop real-time data pipelines between edge devices and operator systemsDesign and evolve core system architecture and data flowsBuild and maintain features in Vue 3 + TypeScript when neededDevelop and scale a large, production-grade TypeScript codebaseDrive reliability, performance, and scalability in production systemsWork closely with product and engineering in a highly hands-on environmentRequirements: 5+ years of production backend engineering experienceStrong hands-on experience with TypeScript + NestJS (must)Strong experience with Vue 3 (must)Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecturesStrong experience with MongoDB (Mongoose), Redis, RabbitMQExperience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions) and Docker-based deploymentsAbility to independently design and deliver end-to-end systemsStrong engineering judgment and ownership mindsetExperience working in large-scale, evolving production systemsNice to have:Real-time streaming systems (RTSP / WebRTC / HLS / DASH)Geospatial / IoT / telemetry-heavy systemsBackground in mission-critical / defense / security domainsThis position is open to all candidates.
