Senior DevOps Engineer (Secrets Manager)

our company's Secrets Manager DevOps team consists of coders who enjoy a challenge and are responsible for planning, developing, and implementing our company Secrets Manager's infrastructure and application development life cycle.The DevOps team collaborates with developers and works with PM to deliver new capabilities and continuously improve the services' robustness, availability, and quality.We are looking for an outstanding DevOps Engineer with an "automation first" mindset who is passionate about continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies and best practices, performance, stability, and security.Responsibilities:As part of your role, you will design, implement, and deploy products and infrastructures that will directly increase our stability and quality while reducing our time to market.Have end-to-end ownership from individual development environments, SCM, Build/CI server, to our production system on AWS.Design and manage Continuous Integration/Deployment Services (build, packaging and deployment)Design, document, implement and maintain scripts to enhance current and future build and release processesIncorporate new development projects into existing build structuresContinually evaluate tools and technologies to improve the overall release process.Requirements: 4+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer Deep knowledge and experience in cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g.Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation)Experience with Containers and Orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.)Experience with CI/CD Tools and Configuration Management Systems (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)Experience with any of the Observability and Logging tools preferably DataDogGood understanding and ability to manage and append Networking on cloud and cloud topologyGood script skills - Bash and PythonDecision-making skills: taking into account both architectural and business considerations, at times with incomplete information.Proactive by nature; internal drive for excellence and improvementStrong ability to use new technologies and understand them in depth through rapid self-learningFluent in English, good writing skillsAdditional InformationExperience in testing methodologies and developing tests (e.g Unit tests, integration tests, system tests)Strong networking foundations (TCP/IP, DNS, Network Protocols, Routing)Security principles and techniques (Risk management, Threat modeling, secure configuration)Database usage experience and understandingExperience with Agile development and practicesCloud Solution Architect Certificate.This position is open to all candidates.
