Senior JAVA Developer

We are seeking a Senior JAVA Developer We are looking for a skilled Senior JAVA Developer to join a development team and take part in building complex systems, solving technical challenges, and writing clean, elegant, and maintainable code. This role requires extensive hands-on JAVA development experience, strong expertise in microservices, REST APIs, databases, Spring Boot, and proven experience developing with AI tools. A full-time hybrid position based in Central Israel, with 1 day a week remote.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain complex JAVA -based systems.

Design and implement microservices-based solutions.

Develop and integrate REST APIs.

Work with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Write clean, high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.

Collaborate with development, analysis, QA, project management, and product teams.Requirements: Professional requirements: At least 5 years of proven experience in JAVA development - mandatory. Proven experience working with microservices - mandatory. Proven experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases - mandatory.

At least 5 years of experience working with REST APIs - mandatory. Strong expertise in Spring Framework / Spring Boot - mandatory. Proven experience developing with AI tools, with an emphasis on Claude Code - mandatory.

Experience developing in cloud environments - advantage.

Experience working with EJB - advantage. Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging tools - advantage.

Experience with React development - significant advantage. Relevant academic degree - advantage.
