Senior Java Software Engineer

A self-funded, profitable SaaS company is seeking a senior engineer to serve as the CTO's technical right-hand.

We are growing steadily — without investors, without funding pressure, and without compromising engineering standards.

This is a high-impact architectural role inside a live production system serving thousands of daily users.

Mature Object-Oriented Java monolith (single-tier architecture)

Modern services built with Spring / Spring Boot

AWS-based production workloads

Real revenue, real customers, real operational responsibility The mission is not to rebuild from scratch.

The mission is to understand deeply, modernize wisely, and evolve sustainably.

Architectural decisions and long-term system evolution

Refactoring and modernization of legacy Java components

API design, scalability, performance optimization

Engineering standards, code quality, and mentoring

Direct partnership with the CTO on technical strategy

6+ years building backend-heavy production systems

Deep understanding of classic Object-Oriented Java (monolithic architectures)

Strong hands-on Spring / Spring Boot experience

Proven ownership of production environments (performance tuning, debugging under load)
