Senior Software Engineer

We seek a passionate, software-oriented, Senior Software Engineer to join the R&D team.You will be joining the team responsible for our autonomous systems development. You will take part in all aspects of the process - from customer needs mapping and definition, through algorithms design, prototyping, and implementation, to production, continuous deployment and support.Responsibilities - what youll be doing:Design and develop our robot infrastructuresBe a source of knowledge for architecture, standards & development strategiesOwn code lifecycle & standardsCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, robotics, hardware engineers, and software developers, to understand system requirements and translate them into software infrastructure solutionsRequirements: Requirements - does this describe you?B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in computer science-must5 years of practical software engineering experience in C -must5 years of practical experience with Linux operating systems -mustSolid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and software development lifecycleStrong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex software issues and propose effective solutionsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a team-oriented mindsetStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutionsAdvantages - these will bring you to our front row:ROS/ROS2 development experience (C ) preferably in a professional settingExperience with autonomous driving systems, preferably off-road (major advantage)Familiarity with real-time operating systems, embedded systems, and microcontrollers is a plusFamiliarity with ARM architecture and Cross-CompilationProven experience building more than one robotic system from scratchThis position is open to all candidates.
