Software Developer

We're looking for a hands-on Software Developer to join our R&D team, working on the full pipeline - cameras, video processing, automated production, graphics, and backend infrastructure. If you love low-level systems, real-time challenges, and seeing your code live in actual sports arenas, this is the role for you.As part of your role, you will:Develop and maintain high-performance C systems across the video pipelineWork on real-time video processing, ingest/transcode pipelines, and streaming infrastructureCollaborate with the team on backend services written in Python and GoIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks in multithreaded, low-latency systemsWork closely with Product, QA, and DevOps to ship reliable, scalable featuresLeverage AI tools (primarily Claude) as part of your daily development workflow.Requirements: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent or relevant military tech unit experience.4-5 years of hands-on software development experience.Strong C background (C 11 and above).Experience in low-level, system-level development on Linux.Familiarity with multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.Background that spans both hardware and software domains (e.g., embedded, IoT, military tech units).Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.Bonus points if you have:Experience with video streaming, real-time video processing, or multimedia frameworks (e.g., FFmpeg, CUDA)Familiarity with streaming protocols (UDP, TCP, RTMP, HLS) or transport-layer developmentExperience with Go or PythonBackground in IoT or embedded systemsExperience working in Agile environmentsHands-on experience using AI coding tools in your workflow.This position is open to all candidates.
