Software Engineer-Endpoint Security Agent

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep system-level experience to help strengthen and scale the infrastructure behind our security agent. In this role, you will work closely with multiple teams across the organization, focusing on building robust foundations that support reliability, performance and growth of an already production-proven agent.ResponsibilitiesDesign and improve core infrastructure components of the LayerX security agentStrengthen scalability, reliability and performance of the agent in real-world customer environmentsBuild and evolve communication, update and configuration mechanisms for the agentWork across teams to support agent-related infrastructure needs and long-term scalability effortsDebug complex system-level issues and lead root cause analysis in production-like environmentsInfluence architectural decisions related to agent infrastructure and scaleRequirements: 5+ years of experience building production-grade systems or system-level componentsProven experience developing agents, daemons or background servicesStrong understanding of operating system internals and cross-platform system behaviorHands-on experience with Windows internals, including services, processes, permissions and system APIsExperience building scalable, reliable systems that run continuously on customer machinesStrong problem-solving skills and a high ownership mentalityThis position is open to all candidates.
