System Engineer

We are looking for an experienced system engineer to participate and lead the development of a radio-based drone detection and mitigation system as part of the company products.Responsibilities:Lead features and platforms from ideas to releases. Guide and participate in the research and analysis of both proprietary and standard radio communicationprotocols.Develop and optimize algorithms for scanning, signal separation, antenna selection, etc.Define requirements and guide other multi-disciplinary teams (SW, Modem algorithms, DSP, and FPGA) throughimplementation and debugging.Analyze and define complex system behaviors, state machines, algorithms, and event-response logic, includingradio link budget considerations.Perform independent, hands-on debugging and optimization for system problem-solving using tools likeMATLAB, Python, Excel, and other log analysis software.Gain a deep understanding of the full system to guide and support development, testing and validation teams.Requirements: B.Sc/M.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from a recognized university.A minimum of 5 years of experience in radio-based systems, with at least 2 years in a role such as acommunication systems engineer, communication algorithms engineer, RF system engineer or a firmwareengineer focused on system-level issues.Hands-on experience in research and development of communication protocols, such as Matlab signal analysis,operating RF test equipment and analyzing system LOGs.Hands-on experience in a scripting language, like Python, JavaScript or MATLAB.Deep understanding of multidisciplinary communication systems.Team player with excellent communication skills, ability to lead tasks within the company and the desire to takeon diverse challenges.Advantage: Knowledge in common wireless protocols.
