Technical Manager Close Range

we are a global leader in advanced radar solutions for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a key technical leader, working closely with customers and internal teams to shape, develop, and deliver innovative solutions that address complex operational needs.

Key Responsibilities Engage with prospective and existing customers to understand operational needs and technical requirements.

Translate customer needs into tailored, practical, and effective solution concepts.

Lead technical pre-sales activities, including preparation of proposals, customer responses, and product demonstrations.

Support the Business Development team with technical guidance, insights, and recommendations.

Identify, assess, and manage technical risks and opportunities across projects.

Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic positioning and future capability development.

Define requirements for new products and enhancements to existing products in collaboration with engineering and development teams.

Lead system integration and deployment activities, including installation, user acceptance testing, and evaluation.

Maintain technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, interface documents, manuals, and training materials.

Work closely with Program Managers and cross-functional teams to support efficient execution throughout the project lifecycleRequirements: Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical management.

Bachelors degree in Engineering.

Previous experience in the defense industry - an advantage.

Strong technical background.

RF /Radar knowledge - an advantage.

Technical and operational experience.

Strong customer orientation.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

Willingness to travel within Israel to support tests, production, and other activities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.This position is open to all candidates.
