Embedded C++ Software Engineer - TechMer

Lead the development, maintenance, and integration of embedded C++ software components for Linux-based real-time communication systems in a defense environment.

• Embedded Real-Time Software Development
• ROIP (Radio over IP) Systems - Develop and maintain ROIP communication systems with a strong focus on reliability, availability, real-time performance, system robustness, and compliance with operational standards.
• Radio Control Systems - Design and implement modular object-oriented software for radio control over RS-485 serial communication, including protocol specification, implementation, message encoding/decoding, validation, and system testing.
• Communication Services & Test Automation - Develop communication services using the Mongoose networking library as part of the radio management infrastructure. Design communication interfaces and develop automated validation and integration test tools in Python to support system verification.
• System Debugging & Performance Optimization - Investigate complex system requirements, perform root-cause analysis, debug Linux-based embedded systems, and optimize software components to improve response time, stability, and overall system performance.
• Process Synchronization - Develop synchronization mechanisms for multi-process and multi-threaded applications, improving system reliability, stability, and deterministic real-time behavior.
• System Integration - Lead software integration activities with Hardware and QA teams, supporting system validation, troubleshooting complex integration issues, and delivering production-ready embedded software.
