My name is Andy Zingman. I am a former professional tennis player of the ATP tour. After playing professionally, I attended university in San Diego, California, achieving my undergraduate degree (Summa Cum Laude) in International Business Administration, and for the last 15 years I have coached top juniors and pro players in Israel
I would like to create a great Tennis system and apply all what I have learned in the last 3 decades, first as a player, then as a coach
I would like to combine my Tennis expertise with education through sports. In the last 15 years not only I have developed many kids into National champions and team members of Israeli team at European Championships but also helped them developed a strong personality to succeed in life
As a brief introduction of myself, I was born and raised in Argentina, former professional tennis player , best ATP ranked #214, played qualies in all 4 Grand Slams, and qualified to 3 main draws at ATP level. As a Junior I was Singles & Doubles National Champion in Argentina, top 4 in South America and #12 Junior ranked in the world. I have competed against some of the top ATP players, and I’ve beaten Roger Federer in ATP Gstaad (Switzerland) in doubles.
I earned a Business degree from San Diego, California, and have received the Outstanding Student Award of the whole University
I have been living in Israel for the past 15 years. I First worked as a National Coach for the Israel Tennis Association (ITA), coaching some of the Israeli top ATP, WTA players. Also coached Israel top juniors, directed national training for boys U10 & U14, and was the Israel official coach at European Championships U14, U16, U18, and official coach at European Junior Olympics U15
Since June 2008, I have developed and am still in charge of the David Squad , a great junior development program in Israel with best international results in boys and girls for over a decade.
One of my students from age 9 for over 10 years, Yshai Oliel, won 2 Jr. Orange Bowls in Miami, was a finalist of Junior Australian Open Juniors, Junior Roland Garros doubles champion, and is currently Davis cup player #1 for Israel In addition to Oliel, I also coached more than 10 players that either got to play Grand Slam juniors, or got to the top 30 ranked in Europe U14. Also, I have developed 10 players that made their way to Fed cup or Davis cup teams for Israel. For a small country without a rich tennis history it was a success for Israeli tennis
I feel ready for a new challenge after 15 years that I gave my best, and feel that I have already accomplished all my goals, and there is not much more I can achieve in a small country with small amount of players
I am fluent in English, Spanish, Hebrew, and Portuguese.
Looking forward to hear from you,
Kind regards,
