QA Automation Engineer | Selenium (Java) | Playwright | API Testing.
Job Summary :
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 3- 6 years of experience in Automation and Manual Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Selenium (Java), Playwright, API Testing (Postman REST Assured), and Agile methodologies. Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium (Java) and Playwright.
- Design and execute API automation tests using Postman and REST Assured.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Execute regression, smoke, and functional testing.
- Perform manual testing and UI validation when required.
- Identify, document, and track defects.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and Agile teams.
- Contribute to automation stability, test coverage, and QA best practices.
Required Skills :
- 3- 6 years of experience in QA Automation and Manual Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium using Java.
- Experience with Playwright automation.
- Solid understanding of API Testing using Postman and REST Assured.
- Good Java programming skills.
- Experience in manual testing, defect reporting, and UI validation.
- Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD execution.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Nice to Have :
- Exposure to Cucumber (BDD Framework).
- Experience with Cypress automation.
- Knowledge of cross-browser testing.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, ChatGPT, Claude, KaneAI, Testim, Mabl, Functionize, or TestRigor.
