High Level Requirements :
Provide development and support for QQL, PPS, CDM-1, CDM-2, Atlas and other custom Java applications in DGTM space.
Needs to be available until 12 noon eastern. Start date asap, 40 hours per week.
Total Experience : 9 to 12 Years
Principle Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using modern Java frameworks and best practices supporting corporate functions, manufacturing, and integrations into CRM ecosystem.
- Partner with Business and IT stakeholders to deliver high quality technical solutions on-time and within budget.
- Manage plans, timelines, and communication updates for several initiatives.
- Build scalable APIs, integrate with heterogeneous systems, and optimize high-performance applications.
- Lead technical design discussions, drive architectural improvements, and support application modernization efforts.
- Manage the effort of Jr. Developers, including conducting code reviews (on-shore and off-shore).
- Build secure technical solutions and execute test plans and test cases (e.g. unit, integration, regression, performance).
- Support code deployment across multiple environments and back-outs (as necessary).
- Support Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, resolve performance bottlenecks, and ensure reliability across distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Waterfall methodologies; contribute to continuous improvement and DevOps practices.
- Support lifecycle management, documentation, and deployment workflows using DevOps tools and industry standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Strong object-oriented design and development skills.
- Experience in API development and integration across diverse platforms.
- Analytical and comfortable with data modeling and data architecture design.
- Solid working familiarity in manufacturing, preferably with Door and Window manufacturing.
- Experienced with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering practices.
