AEM Frontend Developer - React.js/TypeScript

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced AEM Frontend Developer with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and React to join our team in Pune.

In this role, you will build and maintain modern, headless digital experiences for a large-scale e-commerce platform, working closely with backend developers, designers, and product teams.

You will be responsible for developing AEM components, authoring dialogs, interactive React applications, marketing forms, and customer-facing UI components while ensuring accessibility, performance, and seamless content authoring experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain reusable AEM Sites components using HTL (Sightly), Granite/Coral UI dialogs, and Core Components.
• Build interactive frontend applications using React 18, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop and enhance headless Single Page Applications (SPA) integrated with AEM.
• Create and maintain marketing forms including lead generation, membership registration, consultation, and trade signup workflows.
• Implement responsive UI components such as headers, accordions, modals, booking interfaces, and video integrations.
• Integrate frontend applications with GraphQL-based Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services.
• Ensure seamless deployment across Author, Publish, Staging, Pre-production, and Production environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to Client Libraries, Dispatcher, CDN, replication, and React hydration.
• Implement accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), including ARIA attributes, keyboard navigation, focus management, and accessible form validation.
• Support multilingual implementations through localization and internationalization (i18n).
• Collaborate closely with AEM backend developers, QA teams, UX designers, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• 510 years of overall software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites).
• Minimum 3 years of frontend development experience using React.

• Experience debugging live production issues across AEM environments.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
• Experience working with Git, Agile methodologies, and Jira.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
