Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

Position : Android Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a motivated Android Developer to join our team in Hyderabad (on-site, full-time). The role involves contributing to the development, enhancement, and support of Android applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions. Roles & Responsibilities :

• Support the design, development, and upkeep of Android applications
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend teams to deliver functional mobile solutions
• Connect applications with APIs and backend services
• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code
• Test applications to identify issues and ensure smooth performance
• Troubleshoot defects and optimize application functionality
• Contribute to peer code reviews and team discussions

Educational Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar technical field

Technical Requirements :

• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin
• Hands-on experience with Android Studio
• Understanding of Android components such as Activities, Fragments, and application lifecycle
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON handling
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Exposure to MVVM architecture and mobile app design patterns
• Basic experience with Firebase and local storage solutions (SQLite or Room)
• Awareness of Agile methodologies

Key Competencies :

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to debug and enhance application performance
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX standards and best practices

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with Git-based workflows
• Personal or professional projects (GitHub or published apps)

Experience :

• 1-2 years of experience in Android application development
