Key Responsibilities
Software Development &
- Engineering :
- Design, develop, test, and maintain large-scale infrastructure tools and enterprise applications using technologies such as C#, Ruby, Python, and C .
- Build scalable and high-performance applications across Windows, Linux, and Android environments.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and optimized code following software engineering best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and solution implementation activities.
- Work on applications supporting various stages of product development and engineering lifecycle management.
Web Application Development
Develop and maintain modern web applications using :
- ASP.NET
- JavaScript
- jQuery
- Backbone.js
- AngularJS
- Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces for internal engineering tools and platforms.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
Database Development &
- Data Management :
- Develop and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Write complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Work with SSIS and SSRS for data integration and reporting solutions.
- Debug and resolve large-scale production data issues.
- Handle databases managing millions of records generated by thousands of systems.
Jira Administration &
- Plugin Development :
- Design, develop, customize, and deploy Atlassian Jira plugins.
- Configure and optimize Jira workflows, screens, permissions, and automation.
- Perform Jira deployment, performance tuning, and troubleshooting activities.
Integrate Jira with
- Source control systems
- Continuous Integration tools
- Automation frameworks
- Extend Jira functionality to support enterprise defect and release management systems.
API &
- Service-Oriented Architecture :
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
- Work with JSON-based integrations and messaging systems.
- Implement service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles in enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with cloud and distributed systems teams for application integrations.
CI/CD &
- DevOps Practices :
- Participate in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment activities.
- Support automated build and deployment pipelines.
- Contribute to code reviews, branch management, and release activities.
- Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing methodologies.
- Improve software quality through automation and engineering best practices.
Production Support &
- Maintenance :
- Support and maintain existing production applications and tools.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application, database, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Work closely with QA, DevOps, and support teams to resolve production incidents.
- Ensure application stability, scalability, and performance optimization.
