Automation Tester - Java/Selenium

Role Overview :

MOBILE AUTOMATION TESTER :

As an Automation Tester at you will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks that ensure the reliability of complex enterprise applications. You will work closely with cross-functional development teams, product managers, and QA leads to integrate testing cycles into the CI/CD pipeline. Your work directly impacts the stability of production environments, ensuring that high-quality software is delivered seamlessly to end-users while minimizing technical debt.

Key Responsibilities :

• Architect and implement scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium to reduce manual regression testing efforts.
• Collaborate with developers to identify testable requirements and integrate automated suites into the deployment pipeline for faster release cycles.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of test results to identify bottlenecks and performance issues, ensuring high-quality software delivery for global clients.
• Mentor junior team members on best practices in test automation and code quality to elevate the overall technical proficiency of the QA department.
• Maintain and optimize existing test scripts to ensure they remain compatible with evolving application architectures and business needs.

Required Skillset :

• Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch using Java and Selenium.
• Strong proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code to support automated testing processes.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical challenges to stakeholders and collaborate effectively within agile, distributed teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying root causes in complex software systems.
• Adaptability to work in a hybrid environment across our Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Chennai offices, maintaining high productivity in collaborative settings.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
