Automotive E2E System Testing - Python

Description :

• 4+ years of experience with E2E Testing, Python(Strong required), HIL, Shell Scripting, Communication protocols, Containerization, Robot Framework, Automotive domain
• Proven experience in Python and a strong grasp of OOP principles.
• Hands-on experience with the Robot Framework for test automation.
• Good understanding of Linux systems.
• Hands on experience with Shell and Bash scripting.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, Codebeamer.
• Familiar with Docker, Podman, and containerization pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication, teamwork, proactive and self-driven and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and performant code/test artifacts.
• Experience with verification and simulation tools/environments.
• Good understanding and experience of ASPICE and other testing standards.
• Basic networking knowledge (SSH, ADB, MQTT).

Nice to Have :

• Postman for API testing.
• ISTQB certification
• Basic knowledge in CANoe, ODIS, iDex (IDefX), CP Tool, EsoTrace, Wireshark tools.
• Knowledge in SOME/IP, ViWi (Volkswagen Infotainment Web Interface) Protocols.
• Basic understanding of c/c++
• Data Bricks, Kafka basic understanding

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
• Validate E2E system behavior involving multiple components in the functional chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage through manual and automated testing.
• Analyze logs and develop tools/parsers for log analysis.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Ensure quality through effective defect analysis and regression testing.
• Contribute to continuous integration of pipelines and code quality improvement.
