Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced AWS Engineer with 6 years of IT experience and strong expertise in designing, developing, and managing cloud-native applications on AWS.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, backend development using Java (Spring Boot), and working knowledge of React for frontend development. The role requires building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS solutions.
• Develop and maintain backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Contribute to React-based frontend development and integrate UI components with backend APIs.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and ensure seamless application integration.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using AWS monitoring tools.
• Optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
• Implement AWS security best practices, IAM policies, networking, and encryption.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and DevOps engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding and documentation standards.

Required Skills :

• 6 years of overall IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform.
• Expertise in AWS services including :

• S3
• Lambda
• API Gateway
• ECS/EKS
• RDS
• DynamoDB
• IAM
• VPC
• CloudWatch
• SNS/SQS
• Route 53
• Strong development experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of React.js, JavaScript (ES6 ), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of Linux environments and shell scripting.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
• Exposure to serverless architectures and event-driven applications.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and cloud security standards.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• AWS certification (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or Developer Associate) is an added advantage.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• AWS certifications are preferred.
