Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled AWS Python Lambda Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS serverless architecture and hands-on experience in Python backend development. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing principles, infrastructure automation, API development, and event-driven architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, and DynamoDB.
• Architect and implement scalable, event-driven systems leveraging AWS cloud-native services.
• Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Python code following best practices.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs and ensure seamless system integrations.
• Perform API testing and validation using tools such as Postman.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation for automated provisioning and deployment.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and cost efficiency within AWS environments.
• Ensure application security best practices including IAM roles, policies, encryption, and secure API design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Maintain proper documentation for architecture, design, and deployment processes.
• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and continuous deployment strategies.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python development (6- 8 years)
• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services, particularly :
• AWS Lambda
• API Gateway
• SNS & SQS
• DynamoDB
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and microservices design patterns
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices
• Experience in monitoring and logging tools within AWS ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• AWS certification (preferred but not mandatory)
