NOTE : Mandatory experience required is 5 years in Openstack.
Role Summary :
We are seeking an experienced OpenStack Developer with strong expertise in OpenStack platform deployment, cloud infrastructure, and storage integration. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing production-scale OpenStack environments, with a strong focus on storage technologies and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and support OpenStack-based cloud environments.
- Work extensively with OpenStack components including Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, and Keystone.
- Integrate and manage enterprise storage solutions within OpenStack environments.
- Configure and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Support networking, virtualization, and storage architecture requirements.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using industry-standard tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, storage, and performance-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
Required Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenStack (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone).
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and private cloud deployments.
- Strong expertise in storage integration, including Cinder/Swift and enterprise storage platforms.
- Experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM and VMware.
- Strong networking knowledge, including VXLAN, SDN, and cloud networking concepts.
- Automation experience using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and/or Shell scripting.
- Experience working in large-scale production environments.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms such as Pure Storage, NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, or similar.
- Exposure to performance tuning, capacity planning, and scalability optimization.
- Experience supporting mission-critical cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud-native and infrastructure automation best practices.
