Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microservices, and cloud-native technologies.

You will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The role involves working with cross-functional product and engineering teams throughout the complete software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems.
• Build high-quality solutions using Java and Spring.
• Work with cross-functional product and engineering teams to solve complex customer and business problems.
• Participate in all phases of software engineering, including design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Follow clean code principles and engineering best practices.
• Design and develop applications with a strong focus on security, quality, and performance.
• Work on microservices architecture and break down large applications into manageable services.
• Collaborate with engineers across different infrastructure layers to design and launch new features.
• Interact with clients to understand requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.

Must-Have Skills :

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java
• 7+ years of experience with Spring
• 7+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong experience with Microservices Architecture
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge/experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Cassandra
• Strong understanding of application security
• Experience designing and developing scalable backend applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience handling complex technical/business problems
• Good communication skills with fluency in English

Good to Have :

• Experience with Datadog
• Passion for automation, continuous learning, and adopting new technologies.
