Backend Developer - Node.js/Spring Boot

Role Overview :

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining the robust server-side infrastructure that powers our immigration platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and data analysts to translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance services. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of our processing engines, ensuring that thousands of users experience reliable, secure, and rapid service delivery across multiple global regions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement scalable RESTful Webservices to support high-concurrency traffic and ensure seamless integration across our platform ecosystem.
• Transition monolithic components into a robust Microservices Architecture to improve system modularity, fault tolerance, and deployment velocity.
• Develop and optimize server-side logic using Spring Boot and Node.js to enhance the performance and responsiveness of our immigration processing tools.
• Architect and manage complex Database Architecture, utilizing NoSQL solutions to handle large-scale, unstructured data sets efficiently.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and cost-effective resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements that reduce latency for end-users.

Required Skillset :

• Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Spring Boot and Node.js within a distributed environment.
• Proven ability to design and manage complex Database Architecture, with a deep understanding of NoSQL data modeling and query optimization.
• Strong proficiency in developing RESTful Webservices and implementing Microservices Architecture to solve complex integration challenges.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including the ability to configure, deploy, and monitor production-grade infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a distributed, remote-first environment.
• A minimum of 3 to 12 years of professional experience in backend development, showcasing a track record of delivering high-impact software solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements in a fast-paced, international business setting.
