Backend Developer - Python/AWS

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Python + AWS Backend Developer to design and develop scalable backend solutions and RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Python 3.x and AWS services including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and EventBridge.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop scalable REST APIs using Python libraries and frameworks.
• Develop robust backend services using Python 3.x.
• Integrate applications with third-party and internal microservices.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Develop and integrate solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and EventBridge.
• Build scalable and reliable serverless/cloud-based backend applications.
• Troubleshoot application, API, and integration issues.
• Collaborate asynchronously with distributed team members.
• Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation for workflows and integrations.
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and secure development principles.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality backend solutions.

Must-Have Skills :

• Strong proficiency in Python 3.x.
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs.
• Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, EventBridge).
• Strong understanding of backend development principles.
• Experience with cloud-based application development and service integration.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Good-to-Have Skills :

• Experience with GitLab and Git-based version control.
• Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with database design and management.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong documentation and asynchronous communication skills.
