Backend Developer (Python | Django | FastAPI | AWS | Docker | PostgreSQL)

We’re hiring a Backend Developer with strong experience in Python, Django, and FastAPI to build scalable APIs and services. You’ll integrate real-time features with Agora, manage AWS S3 storage, and handle background jobs with Celery. Solid SQL and microservice knowledge required. Docker and CI/CD exposure is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Django and FastAPI.
• Implement asynchronous job queues using Celery and message brokers like Redis or RabbitMQ.
• Manage file and media storage with AWS S3, ensuring optimized upload and retrieval operations.
• Integrate Agora SDK for enabling real-time video and audio communication features.
• Handle data persistence using relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) with optimized queries and indexing.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers to deliver end-to-end functionality.
• Design and maintain integrations across microservices or third-party systems.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain high code quality.
• Monitor and optimize backend system performance, availability, and error handling.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile development processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in Python 3.x and object-oriented programming principles.
• Hands-on experience with Django and FastAPI frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Celery and async task processing with Redis or RabbitMQ.
• Expertise in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• Strong knowledge of AWS S3 operations and media management.
• Working experience with Agora SDK or similar real-time communication tools.
• Deep understanding of REST API principles, versioning, and security.
• Familiarity with Git, pull request workflows, and Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹280,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
