Backend Developer – Python

Job Summary

We are looking for a Python Backend Developer to develop scalable and secure APIs, microservices and integration services for an Automotive Digital Ecosystem supporting vehicle-centric workflows and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Python, preferably FastAPI.
• Develop REST APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Design scalable microservices and reusable backend components.
• Develop event-driven services using Kafka.
• Design and implement data persistence using PostgreSQL.
• Use Redis for caching/transient state where appropriate.
• Use Redis for caching/transient state where appropriate.
• Integrate with object storage and external/enterprise systems.
• Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC and audit logging.
• Develop unit, API and integration tests.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy on Kubernetes/EKS.
• Support CI/CD, logging, monitoring and tracing.
• Ensure application components remain portable across cloud environments.

• MQTT or automotive protocols such as UDS/J1939 are advantageous.
