Backend Engineer - Node.js/TypeScript

Experience Needed :

• Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS
• Microservices & event-driven systems (Kafka/SQS)
• AWS, Redis, PostgreSQL/MongoDB
• Strong system design (LLD/HLD)
• Scalable REST APIs
• Product/startup background
• End-to-end ownership

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement scalable microservices using Node.js and TypeScript to support high-traffic application features.
• Architect efficient database schemas and optimize queries for relational databases and MongoDB to ensure data integrity and rapid retrieval.
• Lead the development of system architecture by creating comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation to guide engineering standards.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS to ensure high availability, security, and cost-efficiency of our backend services.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Candidate Requirements :

• 3 yrs core Node.js backend (TypeScript/NestJS) in product/startup companies.
• Strong in microservices, Kafka/SQS, Redis, AWS & system design (LLD/HLD).
• No frontend-heavy or service-only profiles.

Total Experience : 4 - 9 years
