Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to join our core product team in Hyderabad, where you will play a pivotal role in architecting and scaling high-performance systems. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions. Your work will directly influence the end-user experience by ensuring seamless data flow, high availability, and optimal system performance, ultimately driving our platform's growth and reliability in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable server-side architectures using Node.js to support high-traffic applications and ensure sub-second response times for our global user base.
- Integrate complex backend services with React.js and React Native interfaces to deliver a unified, high-performance experience across web and mobile platforms.
- Optimize database schemas and API performance to reduce latency and improve system throughput for our data-intensive product features.
- Mentor junior engineering talent through rigorous code reviews and architectural discussions to foster a culture of technical excellence and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot production issues and implement proactive monitoring solutions that maintain 99.9% system uptime.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Node.js, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Proven ability to bridge the gap between backend logic and frontend implementation by working fluently with React.js and React Native frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and managing complex database interactions, ensuring data integrity and security across all service layers.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and lead collaborative problem-solving sessions.
- A proactive mindset toward continuous learning and system optimization, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment based in Hyderabad.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 5 to 11 years of hands-on experience in full-stack or backend-heavy development roles.
