Backend Engineer - Python

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, databases, caching, containers, and cloud deployment. The role will involve building scalable, production-grade backend systems and collaborating with frontend and distributed engineering teams.

Total Experience : 4-6 years

Must-Have Skills :

• 4 years of relevant software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Experience building microservices
• Strong experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Good understanding of event-driven architecture
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and query optimization
• Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
• Working experience with React
• Strong understanding of scalable and distributed systems

Good to Have :

• Kafka / RabbitMQ / SQS or similar messaging technologies
• CI/CD and cloud-native deployments
• Production troubleshooting, monitoring and observability
• Experience in Energy / Oil & Gas / Enterprise technology domains

Other Requirements :

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable collaborating with UAE-based teams with some working-hour overlap
• Occasional travel may be required based on project/business needs.
