About the Opportunity :

We are hiring a Backend / Full Stack Developer to join a growing product engineering team building scalable SaaS solutions for the e-commerce industry. The role offers an opportunity to work on modern technologies, contribute to core product development, and build applications that help businesses automate and manage their e-commerce operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend / Full Stack Development :

• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs primarily using Node.js.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver end-to-end product features.
• Contribute to application architecture, design, and performance optimization.

Code Quality &

• Collaboration :
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions within timelines.

Database &

• API Development :
• Design and optimize applications using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
• Ensure efficient data management and seamless system integrations.

Problem Solving &

• Debugging :
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Debug, optimize, and improve the performance and reliability of backend systems.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement effective technical solutions.

Security &

• Best Practices :
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Follow secure coding practices and development standards.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability.

Required Qualifications :

• 5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development.
• Strong experience with at least one Node.js framework : Express.js, Fastify, or NestJS.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).
• Hands-on experience in building REST APIs and Microservices.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
